Global Seminar: Environmental Sociology (Sustainable Environments and Secure Food Systems for a Modern World) |
This interdisciplinary course uses case studies to explore interrelationships among social, economic, and environmental factors basic to sustainable development. Cornell faculty members lead discussions in each of the major topic areas. The course is designed to challenge students to think deeply and creatively about critical issues facing our world in the 21st century and to share their perspectives with colleagues from around the globe. |

Theory and Practice of China's economy |
In the transitional period from a planned economy to a market economy, a lot of issues should be studied from the basic political economy to the distribution and other welfares. The course is designed to foreign students to think about Chinese basic economic issues in the transitional times and to share their perspectives with colleagues. |
